I have experience working with Civil 3D, MicroSurvey, and AutoCAD, including importing, managing, and manipulating total station data. I also have hands-on experience operating total stations and am most familiar with Leica surveying technology. As a student, I am continuing to develop my skills and am always interested in gaining practical experience through real-world geospatial and surveying projects. Not yet certified, however, I am currently working toward my qualifications through my studies at BCIT.

I am currently a Geomatics Engineering student at BCIT and am always looking for opportunities to gain experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and expand my knowledge of the industry. While I am still learning, I am eager to assist with tasks, collaborate with professionals, and support projects to the best of my abilities.

My name is Nema Shokraee, a geomatics engineering student, currently studying in British Columbia, Canada. I have a deep passion for ocean engineering and the technologies that help us understand, map, and build in the marine environment. I created Geospatial Operations Verification & Sureying (GOVS) to share my future work, engineering innovations, and educational content covering surveys, marine scanning, industry development and engineering. My goal is to inspire curiosity, promote learning, and connect people with the engineering shaping the future. I would like to thank all my proffesors & coulleges i meet along the way.

Projects and Experience >

My volunteer work with PARC Engineering in Burnaby, where I have worked alongside professional engineers assisting with high-rise rooftop anchor inspections. My responsibilities have included supporting field inspections, observing professional engineering procedures, assisting with site documentation, and learning about rooftop anchor systems used for building maintenance and worker safety.

One of the major properties I have worked at is the Landmark Complex, which consists of three connected high-rise buildings:
